The questions practices ask before starting
Financial-services firms handle sensitive client information every day. Here are direct answers to the questions we're asked most, organised around what you'd actually want to know.
Who can access my data?
Only the BrokViser team members assigned to your practice, and only once training against your specific processes and standards is complete. Access is not granted by default.
Where does the BrokViser team work?
From the offshore professional-services infrastructure TaxOz has established. Specific site and team detail can be discussed directly during your Discovery Call.
How is access granted?
Deliberately and gradually. Access to your systems is provisioned to what each task in your Workflow Blueprint requires, using the login and permission controls available within your own platforms.
How is access restricted?
By the permissions you set. Most practices start with limited access tied to a single workflow and expand it only as further work is delegated.
How is access removed?
As part of standard offboarding whenever a team member's role changes or an engagement ends, access is reviewed and revoked.
What happens when team members change?
Work is documented against your Workflow Blueprint rather than held in one person's memory, so a change in team member does not mean a change in process. Access for anyone leaving the engagement is removed as part of offboarding.
How are confidentiality requirements handled?
Team members are engaged under confidentiality obligations from the outset, before any client file work begins.
What happens if there's a security issue?
Any concern is raised immediately with your BrokViser onboarding lead, who escalates to TaxOz management. If your practice requires a formal incident response process to be documented in writing, this is agreed during onboarding.
Can clients define their own permissions?
Yes. Access sits within your own systems, using your existing permission controls, so you retain the same visibility and control over activity that you have with any other authorised user.
What certifications currently apply?
BrokViser operates within TaxOz Group infrastructure, which is certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management), and is SOC 2 compliant. If your practice needs the certificates or a security questionnaire completed, raise it during your Discovery Call.
Permissions you set, not us
Access to your systems sits within your own platforms and permission controls. You decide what your BrokViser team can see and do, most practices start with a single workflow and expand access only as further work is delegated, and you retain the same visibility over activity that you have with any other authorised user.
Have specific security requirements?
Raise a security questionnaire or data processing agreement during your first conversation and we'll work through it directly.
